[ QUOTE ] I am unsure about Anelka going to Bolton being a good thing for them, he must be a player that has had about the most money spent on him as he moves every 1-2 years. [/ QUOTE ] meh, the same could be said about heskey, as he's had around 22m pounds spent on him in his career, but anelka scores goals. Anelka also spent a decent amount of time at ManCity(i forget the actual length but it was at least 3 years). Every short term move he's made has generally been to a continental country and its pretty obvious that he enjoys england the best(who would've thought that in 99) [/ QUOTE ] I think he played 100 ish games for Man City, he is a quality player when his mind is on it and Big Sam does have a good record of bringing out the best in players with somthing to prove, Heskey on the other hand is a total donkey and I still dont understand how Birmingham got so much for him this time. |

Martins left the game on a stretcher after injuring his left knee (60'). He landed awkwardly after jumping for a header.
UPDATE: Commentators say it's a thigh problem. |

[/ QUOTE ] It gets even worse as he gets injured around the 60th minute . . . . . . from what I saw, he injured his left knee but the commentators are saying it's the thigh. I guess we'll just have to wait for the diagnosis. |
