xorbie: why were you so tilted by the presence of shortstackers today?

[/ QUOTE ]

im not tilted by them, im just bothered by the fact that everyone bitches and moans about them but isnt willing to do something very, very simple like sitting out when they join the table.

i see a table with 5 full stack guys, all around 22/18. we all know we hate the shortstacks, why bother playing with them. its not hard to just sit out at one of your 7 tables until they leave.

[/ QUOTE ]

It makes me so very happy that the site im playing is not infested with shortstackers

i have played a lot against allin and i can tell you with complete surety that he is a nit in the sense that he is not creative and just about never bluffs in clever or unexpected spots. he is very easy to read and play against although he's "solid" in the most conventional sense of the word. he obviously wins but if you have trouble against him then you are lacking in fundamentals.

yeah i played that hand bad because i was in the kind of rush where i start thinking "hmm i know this guy is nitty and never bluffs, but he must have been nitty and not-bluffing for so long that he must have finally gotten fed up with his nittiness and not-bluffiness that he must realize what a great spot to bluff this is and how there are such distinct hands that he can represent and that raising so huge when it's so unlikely that i can pay him off is such an unlikely play if i actually had a hand which i rarely do anyway that this would be an awesome spot to bluff with the many hands the can have that would have missed. it is just about impossible that he has twopair here because that would just be too goddamn clever for him. the only way this is a bad call here is if he managed to never ever be bluffy or clever and only showed up with a flush or a straight"

obv the answer is to fold every time and not pick off that 1/100 bluff

1) Invite me over.
2) I will kick your ass so badly that you will have a complete distaste for ever picking up an Xbox 360 controller ever again.
3) ????
4) Profit.

P.S. I knew that would happen to me (and my grinding hours are a whopping 15 a week) so I just wouldn't let myself buy it.
