WCOOP bonus-clearing trip report:

I deposit $600 and play about 1K hands of 100nl, 6-tabling. I lose 2 buyins because Stars is rigged, and because no one at any of my tables had a vpip over 25. I cashout because I don't feel like winning 1BB/100 grinding away at nits when I can make 5x that much plus rakeback at FT. Why anyone would play at Stars is beyond me. But I'm glad most 2+2ers do.

Just got back from seeing "Eastern Promises". It's not in the same league as The Godfather or Goodfellas, but if you're into realistic gangster movies and particularly the Russian mob this comes very, very close. It's a bit of an "issue movie" (human trafficking) and gets a little heavy handed but really, really excellent.

never been one to believe the whole rigged thing, but sept on stars easily my worst month ever. havent played in about 5 days, so been reviewing my hands and my play. no different than july or august where i was $75/100 except in sept my hands havent held, basically ever...at all. 2 hands i played bad and should have been stacked. 27 hands i had the best hand...by far, and got sucked out on. tough to have a decent month when that happens.

i dont't play enough to do much about sept...so here's to october at least being a "normal" month... [img]/images/graemlins/wink.gif[/img]

Soah, sometime in the near, or not so near, future I'd like to sit in a game with you at the B.

I'll be a crappy nit who's easy pickins because it's out of my skill level, but I'd still like to watch you (and others) at that Live level play just to see what the games are like.

Also, I really need to start playing Live poker again. I've been waiting till March because that's when a buddy moves out here who will play and motivate me to play/improve.
So much easier when I have someone to go along with/discuss hands/situations with, and what not.

I played about 10 hours in that game in the past few days and there was exactly one hand during that time where it was folded all the way around to the blinds - and we were playing six handed for a while (which is I believe when that occurred).

I think most of my winrate comes from just stealing the limps when I'm in LP. =P
