And the breakeven continues for another 1k hands. After taking a week off from poker, I decided to play for about 2k~ hands today and dropped down to 25nl to get some confidence back (15k breakeven had me tilted and playing poorly)

I felt I played well but only finished up 30$ in 2 hours. Ran AA into an idiot donkey's flopped set, ran TPTK into a slowplayed AA in a 3bet pot vs. a good TAG. Most of my big pots were simple handreading and picking off bluffs with less than top pair.

if you 3bet for protection on the flop then its an easy fold to the push, no?

tbh i play pretty low variance poker and tho im not afraid of +ev situations this one feels too close to me, esp for 200bb.

yo. another crazy day at the office. nice 6 BI upswing at NL50



i've cut down to 2 tables to play my best. i start out with 4 tables, and after i've played a few hands, i choose the best 2 tables. today i found 2 weird tables with 4 nits and 1 absolute idiot with a massive stack. 1 guy was sitting on 3 BI's and was a donkey calling station. 61/0/1 type guy, the other was nuts 65/35/5.
it was hilarious how badly the nits played. they just played there same game, whilst i open limped a tonne and called loads of the maniacs raises. when he was UTG i was UTG+1 and he'd minraise loads. i'd call with any speculative hands cos he stacked off super light (this was after i'd doubled through him so we were 200BB effective stacks). the nits didn't squeeze me once. i was obviously calling with junk to try and stack the idiot and they just kept folding. the same story on the other table. i was playing about 30/15 i was doing so much limping against the calling station with crap hands.

eventually i busted them both. i won a $336 pot off one of them
