NESN is reporting that JD Drew strained his shoulder and tweaked his hamstring when he threw his bat away in disgust after striking out. Apparently his body isn't used to such frustration and his muscles just all tightened up on him.

Too bad Wily Mo isn't available to fill the strike out spot in the lineup. We may have to see if Rob Deer or Mickey Tettleton is available on short notice.
