Before I even saw the flop I put moneymakker on a set because he has one every hand against me.

this reminds me of playing hands with gregosu who plays like 13/9. i think its come to a point where he realizes that i know his range is sets and will only pay off one street almost always and so he has stopped trying to get 3 streets of value from me all together.

You can't possibly check fold this flop getting better than 3:1. I would just shove pre against his stack.

And yeah that hand would tilt me so much. Calling off half his stack in hopes of flopping a pair that isn't even going to be good 1/2 the time. He probably folds to your initial raise pre if it isn't suited too.
