Im wondering if i should play 23/20 or 16/14 for NL$25... its a tricky decision

[/ QUOTE ]

Easy decision. 2 tables: 23/20, 4 or more 18/16, 1 table 40/30

Yeah I've thought about everything I cashed out and went on life-tilt knowing I could be playing 3/6 and having a horrible downswing there instead of at .25/.5

I rarely take money out and I have went from $36 in May to $442 right now after taking $85 out to pay a bill. Plan on only cashing out less than $125 through November until my student loans come out of grace. hopefully I will be playing $50 tables by then. I think once I hit $475 or $500 I will move to the $25 tables.

Cashing out is essential IMO. Don't make cashouts that obv. cripple your roll (50% or something), but someone posted in brew couple months ago about how they cashes out RB+25% of winnings every month. I think this is a good strategy.

Once you get them checks, a) noone can take the money back away from you, no matter how bad you run (assuming you aren't an idiot that's gonna go busto and have to redeposit). b) You feel really accomplished because of the actual money, assuming you play real stakes and are cashing out more than a few hundred.

I was reading this dude's blog the other day, about how he is a "poker pro", playing 600NL for a living & trying to move up to 5/10NL, and he was driving a $4000 car or something. I loled.

i know they're if's, and i'm prepared to live with where i am at now. one thing i will say is that i needed a clinic in value betting, and dropping down to 10/25nl gave me that. so there was good in my massive bankroll depeletion, i guess.

I feel like I still have a bunch of leaks, but I'm getting coolered a bit more so it amplifies my leaks. When I run normal I make enough hands to break even or be a small winner, but now I'm losing because more leaks come out in full force.
