Re: ****Official 2007 NY Mets NL East Champs Thread****
Whitebread, have you even read what I wrote. I have said about 8,000 times in this thread that the Mets hitting is ALSO at fault. Then Niss says the arguments arent mutually exclusive (which I really have already said 3 times) and you respond 'fair enough.' I mean c'mon....

Re: ****Official 2007 NY Mets NL East Champs Thread****
Can someone please tell the Mets that you should be LESS inclined to steal against pitchers who walk a lot of guys. Walks FORCE the runners over, SB's are only advatageous vs pitchers who give up hits. Kane Davis is absoltulty horrendous and they let him off the ropes with all the god damn running.

Leadoff double vs the pen, here we go again. Maybe Iguchi will get caught stealing 3rd with no outs down by 2...

Re: ****Official 2007 NY Mets NL East Champs Thread****
WTF has happened to Feliciano? I don't think I've ever seen a pitcher be so night and day as he has been. He has been AWFUL the second half. Just awful. Which means he's fit in well with everyone else in the pen.

BobO,
It wasn't until the last few posts that I think everyone admitted that the offense sucked as much as Heilman did. If you said that last night then I apologize because I either missed it or was too hammered to remember reading it. My bad. |

Whitebread, heres another example. Feliciano shouldn't be blowing the game AND the Mets should have more than 3 runs vs this joke pitching of the Phillies. Multiple parties can be at fault, see?

Maybe they didn't say it just because the Phillies pitching is so awful it's assumed... |

Re: ****Official 2007 NY Mets NL East Champs Thread****
Now the Mets will make a dumb descision and pitch to Ryan Howard simply because he is left-handed.... I'd blame Willie for this but probably 30/30 managers would make this same incorrect desicsion.

Bitch: I hate how MLB extra innings is blacked out on Saturday afternoon's because of Fox national broadcasting rights. It's really annoying trying to follow this [censored] on the mlb.com gamecast.
