Re: Steps on Stars
I'd really like to see protected steps, where buy-ins to steps four, five, and six must be made with a ticket won in a lower step. I also like the single table step 6 described above.

[ QUOTE ] Sounds good, what about being able to use a Step 5 ticket to buy into a $650 qualifier? [/ QUOTE ] The Steps are separate from the other qualification paths, by design. The Steps tickets are good only within the Steps system. Allowing them to be used outside of the Steps system would undermine said system. There are many, many opportunities to reach the $650 qualifiers without buying in directly. All the best, Bryan S. Tournaments Administrator PokerStars Poker Room Management Team [/ QUOTE ] Bryan, does that mean that Steps tickets are worthless after PCA qualification begins? If it's just generic T$/W$, I don't see why this should be an issue. Either way, steps are great! Thanks! |

Re: Steps on Stars -- feedback requested
i prefer the 2 table step 6.
but having both 6 and 6(a) is fine if they both run. |

Re: Steps on Stars -- feedback requested
So, at last I come out of hiding to register my preference:
6(a) please. Ticket buy-in only would be most especially pleasing to me. You could do that: only allow cash buyins for the 6 tournaments? Now, I'm going to search the threads and reprimand all those who use 'would of' instead of would've, 'should of' instead of should've, 'could of' instead of could've. Oh the shudders that causes! Jen Harman: you're on my list! |

Re: Steps on Stars -- feedback requested
I'm a low limit player, I vote for steps 6a & 6, these are such a great idea for players like me. Also did you lock out step 3? I can't register with a ticket and no one else is either.

Re: Steps on Stars -- feedback requested
Hi Bryan,
What is quite important to me, and a lot of the other players trying to make their way up the Step system, is that players that have already won their PCA seats are NOT allowed to sit back down and continue abusing the Step system for their own profit. It is rather discouraging to see the same group of 5 high-stakes SnG pros sitting at the Step 6's as they wait all day for them to fill up with lower-limit players. If the step system was truly implemented as a STG method of allowing lower-limit players to qualify for the PCA, then having the same group of pros who have already won their PCA seats sit and wait all day for the 18-man tourneys to fill up becomes rather counter-productive. So please: No buying in to Step 6 if you have already won a PCA package! |

Two things that are more important than 6a.

If you switch to the 6a format with payouts 1-7...i could care less if the same people want to buy-in over and over again after they have won a seat |
