Re: The Fate of #756 by Marc Ecko
BTW, mt2r rocks as a poster though he consistently underrates the pac10. He has pretty clearly listed the obvious arguments for believing Bonds doped and knew it. I think RedBean is not so much arguing against this as he is trying to point out that Bonds was never found guilty of violating any MLB drug/steroid policy. He seems to be arguing from a legal standpoint, and not a rational standpoint. Luckily, Bonds isn't being charged with any criminal actions, so we can use logic and reason to judge him. Whether or not Bonds violated any MLB rule, it seems pretty clear the guy was doping. Doping and sports is bad, m'kay?

CSC,
This is going to be a crappy analogy but here goes. This thread: Redbean is like 2007: Barry Bonds Really good, but not close to his bestwork. |

All of these "arguments" that myt2r is alluding to (and he is just alluding to them, not actually making them) are arguments that RedBean and others have dealt with in other threads. I'm sure that if myt2r decided to get specific and ACTUALLY MAKE these arguments (rather than just say "you know, the pictures, the stats") then RedBean might spend some more time refuting those as well. But myt2r isn't interested in doing that. He just vaguely alludes to some potential argument, never makes it, and then claims victory when no one steps up to refute his nonsense. |

"I think Bonds did steroids"
"You can't prove it" "I still think that he did steroids" "Yeah but you can't prove it" "I don't care if I can prove it" This is why the two sides will never agree |

Nice line of logic you have there. |
