Hard to say, Arizona might be the weaker of the two.

arizona is in. i don't even think losing both games in No-Cal this weekend would keep us out - though if that did happen, a win or two in the Pac-10 tournament would be mighty helpful.

Arizona's SOS & RPI are way too high to keep out at this point. If Stanford doesn't sweep at home this weekend, then they may be in trouble. I'm still quite confident with 6 in the dance though.

That's true, Arizona's RPI is 15 and Stanford's is 40

UCLA going off at 12-1 in some places now...anyone else see value considering that they may very well be the #1 overall seed?

I think there are maybe 8 teams with a "good shot" at winning this year (quickly: UCLA, OSU, FLA, WISC, UNC, Ta&M, Kan, Mem) Another 5 with an outside chance (Ken, Duke, georgetown, texas, pitt) and then let's say 10 more teams with longshot odds. Given that, yes, I think that 12:1 is a great price to bet on the Bruins. 9:1 would be closer to true odds, I think. Maybe even 7:1. Of course, I don't bet on the Bruins as they are my team.

Interestingly, I don't think any other Pac-10 team has a realistic shot at winning the NCAA tourney. Oregon, WSU, Arizona, Stanford, and even the f-ing Trojans have a chance of surprising people in the tourney and beating a top 5 team. However, I don't think any of these schools can beat 3 top 10 teams in a row (as is often required in the tourney).
