Thread needs a bump.

Over past 6 weeks or so our pitching has been fantastic except Ohka. But good thing hes gone now and isn't coming back..

Now only if our hitting can do what they did last year. We will be able to compete for the wild card.

By end of June we should have Johnson, League and Chacin back.

By the middle of July we should know if we stand a realistic chance at anything..

Welp, I won't turn on GameCast next time.

Sorry Jays fans. Know how that feels.

I guess McGowan solidified his spot in the rotation for the rest of the year with this gem. I still think he isn't that good, but we could do a lot worse.

not that good? He has sik stuff, 95mph fastball w/ movement, hard breaking ball, 2 seam fastball with a ton of movement, devastating changeup and a hard slider. His problems in the last 2 year were that he couldn't locate his pitches. Now that he has improved his control he could become dominant and one of the best pitchers in the game.

edit: his changeup is on and off tho, most of the time he doesn't have it and he has trouble locating it, but it has tons of movement down and away to left handed batters.
