4% off the top is right.

The fees on the other events are:

The following percentages will be withheld from each buy-in for each event: Buy-in Take-Out : $500 10% $1,000.00 9% $1,500.00 9% $2,000.00 9% $2,500.00 8% $3,000.00 8% $5,000.00 6% $10,000.00 6%

No.

It is 6%.

Very last line of the "Schedule of Play" sheet for the H.O.R.S.E event, available at the Rio:

"6% of the total entry pool will be withheld."

I think Party was suppose to put someone into the event as well

[/ QUOTE ]

I think Party did. Before the players were seated, I was standing next to a guy who I did not recognize, wearing a Party shirt. He was talking to a friend/family member, saying that so-and-so, so-and-so, and so-and-so were standing next to his table and he hopes he doesn't have to sit with all of them. He was talking like he was star-struck and out of his league, which made me believe he was an internet qualifier.

They're really playing down to one table today!?!?!? That's nuts, for $50,000 I'd want at least another day to play.

143 entered * $50K = $7,150,000 in entry fees.

If you add all the prize money listed on Cardplayer, you get
$6,864,000

which is 96% of the entry fees. ie 4% vig.

I'm not sure this cardplayer coverage can get any worse. I read about an hour ago that Paul Phillips was eliminated. Looking at the chip counts now, though, they have him still alive. I can understand screwing up a hand when you're text messaging it to someone, but how do you get that wrong?

I see that Pokerwire still has Phillips eliminated, but it's not on Cardplayer. CP's chip counts had him at 13,700.
