A tournament reporter walked up to Rasmussen, and asked, "Thayer?" Before Rasmussen could answer, Dwan reacted with shock, saying, "This is Thayer?"

The reporter thought Dwan was joking, but apparently Rasmussen's online reputation preceded him more than his photo. Dwan said he would have figured it out eventually, but an innocent comment by a reporter potentially gave Dwan a better read on his opponent -- or at least more respect for him.

Started out at the frankie flowers and freddy deeb table, and witnessed a lot of really crazy things, deeb dominated the table and i'm pretty sure i was the only person who won chips vs him. I reshoved on 12 opens preflop, 7 were deebs. He called me once with K6 and doubled me then stopped calling.

i started today with 30k though so i chipped up i guess

14bb is my sweet spot though.
