the thing is, your computer may be in your own living room or bedroom, but your posts are not, and they can be googled by people who have not read a single other 2p2 post...

so... it is very easy to understand why you shouldn't post jokes that a stranger would find offensive, but people who "know" your posting history / context would not

you are basically standing in the middle of times square yelling at the top of your lungs, you are not in your living room drinking beers with your chums

Not even close. It's not just the words you use, but how you use them. Those shows have become hugely successful based on their brilliant satires of every element of society, and they've often used racist themes to illustrate one of these points. This is just a little different from some guy that registered last week responding to a post by writing "[censored] PLZ". DUCY?

I rly hate Greenfield/SOA for this.

That being said, how much of an impetus was my "BBV4LIFE/Igga" post for this new policy? I can't help but feel a little responsible although it should be obv to anyone with a pulse that my intent in that thread was not to be racist.
