I seriously don't get how people can get so worked up over a sport that ends like this, wtf

Seriously, posting the wrong winner just isn't cool.

I guess that's how boxing is scored, but something just seems lame about winning for being defensive for almost the entire night, and never really doing more damage besides a light jab every 15 seconds.

This has always been my, and I assume any casual boxing viewers', issue with boxers outside the heavyweight division. It doesn't even look like these guys were in a fight and all they do in the match is dance around and whoever avoids punches best wins.

was this fight good? I know it was close, but was it worth watching?

[/ QUOTE ]

yes.
One of the most enjoyable fights ive watched in a long time.

Even the undercard fights were entertaining.

I did not bet on this fight at all and I couldn't wait for the next round to start. This fight had lived up to the hype imo

yeah i think it was good, very close, definitely worth watching. also props to floyd for his reasons for retiring after this match although the probability he fights another professional match is > 50%

I didn't watch but whatever, boxing is so rigged. I am done with it ever since the Holyfield/Lewis draw.
