Re: FTP Answers 6/7
LOL, faster hands means more hands, more hands means more bad beat outcomes seen over time (still proportionate but you know what i'm saying), more bad beat outcomes seen means more people yelling "rigged!".
Serious note: I liked what another poster said when he asked for tables labeled "FAST" and leave the others alone. |

Re: FTP Answers 6/7
Hi Doug,
Could you create some tournaments for more FT points than 10k? Or even allow people to buy into regular tournaments with their points. The smaller events that you can use points for generally are not worth the time of people who play medium stakes on up. Thanks. |

Re: FTP Answers 6/7
I'd like to see FT make a deal with a Carribean or other non-US Casino / Cruise ship to have a 10K tournament (13-15K pkg), where their online players ACTUALLY win a seat, not just a deposit to their account.
I understand with the UIGA they can't buy into WSOP & US events, but why are they not issuing "actual" seats to non US tournaments? FT could make a heck of a tourny , they could easily guarantee a min of 250-500 or more buy-ins, & paid rooms, to the host venue, & possibly have a Broadcast deal, & lots of their "name" bounty pros to sweeten the pot as well. I'm surprised this hasn't already happened .... They can run their weekly satts, as well as the occasional 50 or 100 seat guarantees ... |

Re: FTP Answers 6/7
I have the MAC client and it lags pretty bad, I don't even try to play more than 3 tables and just getting the 3 open is always tricky.
However, this only occurs on my computer at home which is older: 1Ghz 756MB Ram. When I play my Power Tower Mac at work, there is no issue. It's also very smooth on my PC laptop. The time bank is brutal during turbo tourneys. Giving someone 115 seconds to get back is WAAAAYYYY too much. |

Also, I would love to see the ability to buy tourney tokens with FTP points.

Doug, Is there any way you could make a game filter kinda like your MTT/SNG filter? Something to distinguish between PL and NL, 6max and FR, and 100nl from 400nl? Thanks! Also, hide full tables is a good feature too. [/ QUOTE ] |

Re: FTP Answers 6/7
FTP just lost my $10k/month MGR by rickrolling me. Good day.

[ QUOTE ] [ QUOTE ] You know, I really don't have any sympathy for people who are playing 8 tables at once and are running out of time. If you're running out of time, that means you're slowing all 8 of your tables down. Just play a couple fewer tables, you'll be getting the same number of hands with the faster play anyways. [/ QUOTE ] [/ QUOTE ] QFT. The people who are complaining don't realize that now they can play the same number of hands at fewer tables. This actually means more profit (as opposed to neutral EV) because they can pay attention more to the tables they are playing at, since they are fewer in number. [/ QUOTE ] This is simply not true. The key to playing many tables (6+) is to be thinking about key hands on other tables and making your decision while going through the motions on other standard tables. With the decreased time, you simply have less time to either go through the motions on other table or think about a hand. The fact of the matter is that FTP DIDN’T DECREASE THE TIME LAGGERS HAVE TO PONDER AN EASY DECISION – BUT INSTEAD JUST MADE SURE THEY HAD TO CLICK THEIR TIME BANK TO ACTIVATE IT. All that does is punish multitablers. I think one poster had it right – have some ‘Fast’ tables, and have some ‘Normal’ tables. |
