Re: STTF SNG->cash thread
Ugly spot but I might call just to see what he has. I don't know if he bluffs often enough for that particular call to be profitable, but sometimes I like to pay to see what he'll have here.
He will be bluffing some small % of the time so its not a hugely -ev spot. The positives are I use the info I get from the call both to get to know what the opponent is doing, and I use it for my own image. |

Re: STTF SNG->cash thread
I bet the turn. As played, I never fold to a 1/2 pot river bet when I checked behind the turn.

Villain is 18/14/4.45 in 779 hands (mostly from data mining), but my image is very LAG at this table. This guy has noticed how I'm playing and has 3 bet me quite a few times when I couldn't call. I have never taken this line before, but thought it might be good in this situation. How's it look? Dr. J,
What King Car said, but I think the price is too sick to fold when you only have 13 hands on villain. Previous streets look fine. |

There's only two things it could be that are consistent with the action so far. One is a set that has lost it's nerve and is worried I won't bet the turn with a flush draw. The other is a flush draw like A[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]2[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] or A[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]4[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] or K[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]Q[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]. In either case, calling isn't the best play. |
