I did this about 8 months ago and I lost a $2200 pot (set vs his nut flush). The next day, I got a $1 chip and on one side, in bright blue perm. marker, I wrote "Slow down" and on the other, "Think" and it's been my card protector ever since. By now, it's become second nature for me to do these things, when playing live. But, that said, that chip has made and/or saved me, by last count over $9500 over the last 8 months.
