we can live with green at 1b and endy/milledge in the outfield for a little while if we have to

endy/milledge + green may be better than green + delgado...at the least def more consistent

i know we have some quality at 1B, but man, delgado was starting to finally come around and then this happens, hopefully it's not only minor, but also that it doesn't disrupt his flow

heh, pedro is getting paid 14 mill this season and just made his first start...maine even with the struggles of late has been the mets best pitcher this season and is being paid under 400k...baseball is so ridiculous

and ya just realized that delgado was getting hot, i retract my earlier statement

this game was a waste, moving on, let's hope pelfrey can build on his first win, i don't know if whatever he does will get him a bigger role for the playoffs, but hopefully it's something to salvage for his lost season...

smig, not sure how to reply, i guess it's more of a rhetorical thing, nothing surprising though about salaries, it's the business side of the game
