Ha! Who says when you are on a drunken tilt rampage after losing a quick 25BB at .5/1 that you shouldn't drink some more and then move up to 1/2! VARIANCE IS YOUR FRIEND! (When your drunk!)

p.s. The 1/2 session included two >20BB pot losses to river suckouts!

Kids, please don't try this at home!

Now it is time to eat some Totino Pizza Rolls, the greatest food on earth! Yes, Wookie - even better than tuna and bacon sandwiches!

And while I'm on this drunken confession, sorry about all the bad advice I've been dishing out this week. I learned that just because you've read SSHE - it does not mean you know how to apply what you've learned.

I know I know sample size...
But in my last 5 sessions I'm down about 25BB.
My stats haven't changed (18/7.5/3.1) but I'm rarely getting cards preflop, almost never catching any part of the flops I see, getting drawn out (frequently on runner, runner) when I have a made hand, and never making my draws even when I have 14+ outs after the turn. In other words...

AAAAAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRRRRRGGGGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHH

Someone who's been through all this before please tell me to chill out and it will all be ok - PLEASE?!?!?!

[/ QUOTE ]

Seriously, it only gets worse. In the last week I'm down ~ 200 BB. 25 is nothing to stress over.

Absolute Poker 0.50/1 Hold'em (9 handed) converter

Preflop: Hero is UTG with 7[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], 6[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img].
Hero raises, 7 folds, BB calls.

Flop: (4.50 SB) 9[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], 2[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], 9[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (2 players)

Final Pot: 2.25 BB

Why open raise with 76o? I had the hotkeys enabled and just happened to be posting to 2+2 while playing. I hit the R at the wrong (turns out right) time.

NH sir. Just no cards when the blinds went up. Crazy last hand, too. You go all-in with Q9, villain has JJ, and the flop comes Q9J. Crazy. Nice payday, though!

Hey, thanks for stopping buy. That was hella fun. That last guy was a maniac. I couldn't figure out what he was doing. Cap preflop with 69o, three bet bottom pair on the turn. My only line against him was call/call/raise. If he 3-bet I knew I was toast, but my darn mouse just wouldn't go over the fold button.

Default Just when I wanted to quit poker

Just when I wanted to quit poker this happens tonight...

Backstory: I'm clearing 3 backlogged Stars bonuses ($390 in all) over the past few days 6 tabling 1/2

After about 6K hands I was down 80 BB and had lost so many huge pots on draw outs and was like "screw poker forever, once these bonus are cleared I'm officially becoming a bonus whore only"

My bonuses are now all clear and last night + tonight I hit what I'm dubbing

"The Bum's Rush"

Want to have your own Bum's Rush? Follow these easy steps

Get AA 15 times and win 13 times
Get KK 10 times and win 10 times
Flop 2 pair/trips out of the big blind about 6 times.
AK should flop an ace or king almost every hand also.

Poker is great!
