Re: **Official uNL Microbrew thread: May**
Just thought I'd share. Hit a one outer tonight.
1/2 NL live I open UTG+2 w/ 77 to 12, 1 call behind, 1 blind calls. Flop comes 10 7 4 rainbow, checked to me, I bet 21, villain behind raises to 61, player in the blinds calls 61, I go all in for a 104 more, both players call, and both had me covered. Local cardroom is pretty friendly, and both players ended up checking down, since the player in the blind didn't have much behind, and they didn't want to bet each other heads up. Turn A River 7 The whole time I was asking for the seven, before the cards were even turned up. After I got called all in I put the initial raiser on a set on the flop, and quite possibly the top set. Plus the blind was a pretty donkish player, and I could see A10 showing up as well, so I wasn't too sure I wanted the board to pair any of the cards after the turn. Sure enough the player behind me had pocket 10's, and I needed that 7 to scoop the pot. The player in the blind later said he had pocket kings. Hooray for me. |

Re: **Official uNL Microbrew thread: May**
Nice, my friend lost an 4 buyin pot in a casino on a one outer, his set of aces to turned quad tens. He had 2 buyins after that and quickly went through it all tilted up.
