Pre-legislation that was a pretty standard winrate. Not so much nowadays, but still totally possible by a good player over a 60k sample.

I don't think 7PTBB/100 is unheard of at 100NL. I'm running at 6 over the 28k hands in my new database, and there's a few tilty stretches in there. If I remember correctly, I maintained 6.5 over like 70k hands in December/January. 200NL I'm running at 2.5 over 15k hands.

I think the reason my winrate is so much higher at 200nl is because some of the hands in my 100nl db are when i used to do things like open limp and stuff, and generally i think my game has WAAAYY improved while playing 200nl and being forced to play tables full of 2p2ers all the time.

From memory i think some of the best 200nl's are KeanuReaver (dont play him oop), carrotsnake(when not tilting), Ldonnie, Suntzureps,jigsaws,murph0311--murphsomething, cant remmeber the numbers,,, Tatatunes, Rock Ness(one of the best non-nitty 12tablers), wpr101, redgrape, Steal City.

first hand in the suntzureps thing, what hands (assume you are a 22/18/3) are you opening utg that can call that turn push, after you called a raise on the flop? AA? tough, an 8? he can easily have 99/1010 i think or a 6 because he raised you. A 6 is now hard to call with on the turn too. and not many people would keep firing after turning a full house/quads out of position against somebody who is raising them, when it might be a positional bluff raise alot of people would check to villain on turn to let him hang himself.

Second one, strange, maybe youve had history where hes seen you 4betting regulars light? but yea looks pretty bad. mmaybe he was tilting..

bleehhh my winrate for 2007 over 80k or so hands is around 1 PTBB/100 for 2/3 100nl and 1/3 200nl ... before 2007, i was winning at about 3-4 PTBB/100 over around 60k hands at 100nl on stars and FT

although i've had the biggest downswing of my life this year, i think i need to do a little work on my game

First one, he's not thinking that deeply. If he was then he would take past history into account and he would KNOW that I think that he spews, and thus that I would call flop with an 8 and never ever fold this turn unless i had maybe 99,which i wouldn't have bet in the first place. Also he would know that I know that he's capable of spew bluff raising this turn with whatever.

I'll be nice though and say that the first hand was weird.

I think a lot of people just assume someone is good if they have lagtag stats and 3bet/4bet a lot. kinda ties in with your second reason, which i think is very plausable as well.
