That's just insane.

Last time I looked on scorehero he'd done a Jordan run where he missed 4(!) notes. If anyone can do it, it's him.

decided to play without Hyper Speed on tonight...holy [censored] this is awful it's putting me on tilt. It's so slow. The game is 10 times as fun on hyper speed

Noob question, what is hyper speed anyway? Is it a setting you can use? I've seen it mentioned but I guess I never looked into it.

Yeah, on the main menu you put in "B O Y O B O Y Y" and it should say cheat code activated. It's the same speed it just spreads the notes out further and makes the songs easier to read. Lots of people prefer it to the normal speed setting.

That thread's a good start. It's hard to say without knowing a specific problem. My suggestion is to practice solo A. It's often overlooked. If you get better there your rock meter'll be a lot better off going into the B/C cluster [censored]. At that point strum like a madman and flail through it. Taking B and C into practice will help but not as much. Still it's good to know what notes are coming at you instead of OMG NOTE BLOB.

^^ Good advice. You need to get through solo A in the green, including the fast pull-offs at the end. It also helps to be able to at least get through the first part of solo B without using the starpower. If you can get to the 2 second break in solo B and then activate starpower you should make it to the BNOF as long as you keep strumming like crazy.

My problem was that I actually slowed down my strumming speed alot towards the end of solo B/soloC without realizing it. You've got to keep strumming at misirlou speed. You're still going to eff solo B/C sometimes; but once you can consistently get through solo A in the green you should be able to make it as long as you keep strumming fast enough.
