Re: Are you prejudiced against fat people?
IRT chubby girls,
They don't have sunken cheeks. They have breasts. While their bodies might be experiencing too many calories, a lot of them are (usually misguidedly) eating salads, etc, and getting their nutrients. That means shiny hair, and glowing, healthy, supple skin. I think it's usually desserts and other "forbidden" foods that tempt women to the point of fatness, unlike overweight males (like my younger brother) who just overindulge in all aspects. For some reason my parents raised children (who are otherwise overachievers) that have weird relationships with hiding food. My brother was known for making boxes of things disappear, and then we wouldn't find the wrappers and things until much later, hidden everywhere. He's now dating this STUNNING girl who loves to bake and we're worried is going to kill him slowly by encouraging his love for food. There is clearly something wrong with someone who has to hide food, as there are with bulimic girls who eat in secret and would be fat if they didn't throw up their calories. I'm not saying I'm not prejudiced against fat people, because I've watched sooo many of my friends get fat (and myself) with the constant bombardment of food here at school. I am saying that a lot of people have "issues" and their priorities probably don't lie within the same boundaries as the majority of 2p2ers. My favorite fattie comeback: I can always go on a diet, but you're never going to stop being ugly. |
