David, also, I agree with you that people around here are only upset because they are winning poker players.

How many people here are upset enough to call a congressman that they have to wear a seatbelt when they get in a car, or can't go out and buy heroine or marijuana.

Our gov't has long been making laws to protect its citizens from themselves. Now, I'm not saying that people agree with the gov't's stance on these sort of personal liberties, but I'm just saying they care so much when it directly affects them.

Bill Frist is a hardcore bible thumper and is backed by the Christian Coalition. To think that he'd step out of his Chritian mind-cloak and differentiate between a gambling game of skill and any other gambling game is just plain wrong. The issue at hand is that the Christian right-wingers want to do God's work and force the teachings of Jesus Christ down Americans' throats.
