I am giving this thread a bump.

I see rising oil, sideways indexes, rising inflation, a murky set of wars, gold hits 680 then 600 then 650, etc.

These topics seem like good ones to discuss relative to the contest. I'm currently in a ton of cash with a few sundry positions (less than 30% invested) that are doing well.

Mr. Now never claims to be compliant, in any sense of that term, Marketocracy or otherwise.

I just signed up for Marketocracy.

Do I need an invite to join the group?

You must PM Uglyowl to get set up. If he take a while, PM Sniper, the Mod.

Here's the process:

1. Setup a portfolio on Marketocracy
2. Go to the club page and apply to the 2+2 Poker Players club (on the 1st page of the clubs list)
3. Uglyowl or I click a button

I usually check to see if anyone has applied about once a week, or when someone posts in the thread like you did.

You are now in...

Mr. Now is still #4 or #5, what gives with that? I'm in cash most of the time. I am not pretending to be compliant. I am not, nor will I ever be.

Hey,

Thanks for the bump.

I've just created a portfolio and applied to the club. I look forward to competing in the competition next year.

Guys I have always been a tremendous fan of the 2+2 forums and have lurked some of the other forums here for ages . I almost signed up to suggest a couple of years ago some of you come on over to Marketocracy when I saw this forums discussions . Unfortunately I never checked back to see how this forum has grown .

Anyway I accidentally ran across the 2 + 2 club on the site over there and have applied to join . I don't have any space to create a new fund to join the club so I used one already existing . I am not really interested in competing against you guys in the contest here so much as I am interested in being of any help that I can over there . I've been there several years so I figured I might have an occasional answer for some of the problems new folks sometimes run across if you are interested .

looks like asi closed out all his positions and a few of the top guys aren't in total compliance. I might still have a shot despite not looking at it for a few months.
