Technical issues aside, the decreased decision time IS [censored] TERRIBLE. As someone who likes to play 6 - 10 tables, I feel as though FTP sent a very clear message that you do not want my business. While in the long run, perhaps you speed up the game so single table fish can play at a reasonable pace and not get bored, you're going to lose a lot of support from high volume players who simply don't have enough time to make decisions. Worse still, you'll gain play from bots who appreciate your putting human multi-tablers at more of a disadvantage. NH FTP [/ QUOTE ] Agreed. I want more time preflop or the time bank to automatically activate. This is some [censored]. |

You know, I really don't have any sympathy for people who are playing 8 tables at once and are running out of time. If you're running out of time, that means you're slowing all 8 of your tables down. Just play a couple fewer tables, you'll be getting the same number of hands with the faster play anyways.

This actually means more profit (as opposed to neutral EV) because they can pay attention more to the tables they are playing at, since they are fewer in number. |

One feature I would love to see: If I get stacked at my table, give me a chance to reload immediately before the next hand. Currently it sits me out and then I have to post a dead blind to get back in. Not only did I just lose my stack but I have to pay more to get back in. Thank you. Mega [/ QUOTE ] There's a way around this already. Just reload while in a hand. Select the max (or any amount equal or greater than you'll need to top off your stack) and it'll reload you to full immediately after the hand is over. I do this constantly. In small pots I'll do it before folding to a bet if my stack needs topping off (while "hollywooding"). In big all-in pots I'll reload while the cards are being dealt if I'm not positive I'm going to win. I agree auto-rebuy to max after every hand would be a great option, but honestly ftp software is better than most in this regard as you can reload during a hand. My biggest gripe about the reload system is this: I'm sitting say in the small blind, utg raises, I have some trash I know I'm going to fold under any circumstances so I click the fold box before it's my turn to act. Next I go up and hit reload to top off my stack, it defaults to like 60bb reload, and I click it fast as I only need to reload a few bbs. During the time I spent in the reload box, the action gets to me and I auto fold. Now I'm not currently in a hand, therefore I cannot reload above the maximum for some unknown reason. It gives me an error saying invalid amount instead of simply reloading me to the max buy-in as it would have if I would clicked "okay" a second before folding. This annoys me often. Of course an auto-reload feature would solve this problem too.. |
