Re: South Park starts up again tonight 10/3
I hate when I miss references they make. Was the end scene with Cartman in the trailer truck taken from anything?

Terminator, I think. The "the only real justice is the one you take" line is from Terminator 2.

Re: South Park starts up again tonight 10/3
From the Wikipedia page for the episode:
[ QUOTE ] In the last scene of the episode where Cartman is getting a ride from the trucker, Cartman is dressed exactly like Sylvester Stallone's character Rambo in the movie "First Blood" with the trademark green Army jacket, red undershirt, and brown traveling bag. This also refers to the way he is hitchhiking and the words he speaks at the end "When a man has been wronged, he no longer cares about danger." and "You go through life being told there's justice, then you learn the only real justice...is the justice you take. The only thing funny about the whole episode was Michael Bay. [/ QUOTE ] dude, wtf I just watched this episode again, just to make sure it really was that awesome. And yea, it's abdolutely incredible. To say this episode just rehashes old jokes is insane. This is one of their most original episodes ever. The only episode that is even somewhat similar to it, in terms of outrageousness, is woodland critter christmas, IMO. |

Wow, there is haters on this episode? I am pretty stunned, this could be the best trio of episodes of the entire series. The best part is that I have zero idea how they will end this mini-epic because they are willing to any different number of routes.

[ QUOTE ] how could people not love the 'bono is the biggest crap ever made ' episode. [/ QUOTE ] Cause it sucked? Seriously how do you fail at a Randy-centric episode? Randy is amazing! [/ QUOTE ] Agreed! He's my favorite character by far. When I heard there was an episode completely centered on Randy I was so pumped. And then....wtf?? |
