I'm going to be at the Bears @ Giants game and I absolutely cannot wait for my New York Football Giants to hand the Bears their first loss of the season. Yes, the game is a week and a half away, but I am [censored] pumped.

If the 'fins luckbox a win against the Bears first, I will cry.

Well, that couldn't have gone worse. I was afraid they would have some problems with the Dolphins. Once again when the Bears become turnover machines they are very beatable, of course who isn't (paging Tom Brady). The defense was given no chance. Not that they played very well, but when the Dolphins are starting every drive inside the Bears 30 it's tough to slow them down. Grossman looked lost on deep balls without Berrian able to run them down. And when he became rattled late he fell back into his old habits. I did like the Ron Turner adjustments in this game much better than against the Cardinals. Although it didn't work, some of that was the Gage fumble and the ball over Clark's head. Grossman made some better decisions with the ball and they only half quit on the run. Hopefully this is their reaction more often when down.

Of course the worst news to come out of this is Urlacher's injury. Although I have no idea what it is, and it seems like noone one the Bears knows either, it just cannot be good. A leg or foot or whatever lower body part they are claiming injury on a guy whose main asset is his speed is just awful.

Going into this stretch you would really want Urlacher on the field. However, I think the smarter move would be to hold him out and make sure he is healed. The Bears could still pull out HFA throughout without him. But even in a worse case scenerio they should have no problem getting a bye and I still think a healthy Bears team is a great match-up against the Giants.

This game on Sunday could become a real shootout if there is no Urlacher or Strahan.

The MRI on the left foot of Bears linebacker Brian Urlacher revealed a sprained ligament, according to FoxSports.com's Jay Glazer. However, Urlacher told Glazer he has no intention of sitting out of next Sunday's game against the New York Giants at the Meadowlands.

"If it's up to me I will [play]," Urlacher said. "They told me it all depends on how much pain I can take. I can deal with that."

The Bears really missed Mike Brown this week. On too many of Brown's long runs Todd Johnson was caught up inside and watched him run right past him. His job is to come up and make that play, Mike Brown always did. That was part of loss of Brown, without his run support you can snap up a big run or two if you can clear the first wave of tacklers.
