So I was going through youtube tracking down videos like this:

<object width="425" height="350"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/IiIJOB0GLW4"></param><param name="wmode" value="transparent"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/IiIJOB0GLW4" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" wmode="transparent" width="425" height="350"></embed></object>

to dedicate to the_main and theprodigy. This of course lead to a musical hopscotch through youtube and I just realised some 25 years later that The Specials --> Fun Boy Three --> The Colourfield!!

Holy Crap! Talk about a change in musical direction!

I give you, THE SPECIALS:

Wake me up when September ends...

I'm really going to try to get better at poker starting now. I'm pretty sure I am an above average player, but I feel like I need a lot more help in some areas. Problem is, I'm not sure what areas exactly .

Goals for the rest of the month:

-Read a crapload of the posts that CMAR compiled in that awesome "Wisdom" thread.

-Review a lot of my hands, which is something I've been avoiding, which I know is hurting my winrate.

-Continue 8-tabling at all times when I play.

-Bring my 50NL winrate up to 3 (it's at 1.59ptbb/100 after 14.3k hands )

-Play 5000 more hands this month, with at least half being 100NL.

I just played a 5.5 hour session, my longest ever.

Took a little dip there at the end, so I finished +$842.

if youre trying to get better at poker, and not grinding for dem bills, i suggest lowering the amount of tables you play. every now and then i play like 4-6 tables (i am usually 12-tabling) and try to really think about every decision im making, even if its just for an hour or so. also, it gives you a good chance to take some notes on regs and try to dissect their play a little better. just a suggestion

I had my own personal fish for a while. No one else bothered calling him. He was shoving like 80+% of his hands preflop. I;d make the Kx calls again. These are all of the hands that got to SD in his 40ish hands at the table. His river aggression was oo before the hand he checked behind me.
