meh I'm nothing special at heads up, but judging my game from those hands is ignorant at best, anyhow having said that I was wondering what standard stats are for HU, this is what I have from my session last night.

Are the VPIP and PFR too high?
What do others run at?
FWIW I button limp some crap that I think is too good to fold like 95o or Q3o, T2s etc. (I don't think this is standard but I don't think its a leak either)

too loose/to tight?

[/ QUOTE ]

post sb vs bb stats.

BB = 39.3/15.3

lol catcher how did you 3bet from the button? is that limp/raising? you're way too loose OOP, id cut back a solid 10% or so, something like 30% (or lower!) defense is superior. 15% 3bet is real good but it depends on villain's open raise %, it's something id scale up (or down) accordingly.

catcher193,
You play way too loose heads-up and call 3-bets with hands that are easily dominated. These were the position stats I had on you from our ~250 hand session.

Button 95/85
BB 40/11

For reference, I was raising 57% of my hands on the button. Calling with 40% is definitely marginal. You might be slightly ahead of my range, but playing those hands OOP will be extremely tough.

possible stupid q, and maybe shoudl create a thread for it, but...

if you're playing HU, and raising your button every time, would you rather villain 3bet 100% of the time or 0% of the time? my instinct tells me 100%.

def 100% right? fold your trash, make unexploitable pushes with like top 10% of range, call with the mediocre crap with position.

thats basically like playing 40/120 blinds in pos and 5/10 blinds OOP I think?

bingo, the thing is though moving away from theory in practice people dont adjust well enough vs that, so in essence the 100% 3bettor generally is playing closer to optimally vs the 0%.
