Re: SSNL [cheese] thread: NOV 2007 (nc)
Weird [censored] going on at some of my tables today. Was 6-tabling at UB, on one of my tables a couple guys were going at it in chat and one of them accused the other of playing as a team with another one of the players at the table. Didn't think much of it because the accuser was a huge donk. Was weird that the accused, who had nitty stats, was responding and being a pretty huge dick as well. Anyway, I kept playing, not thinking much of it, though it was interesting that the accused was playing one other table, and the guy who he was accused of being a team with was there as well, sitting directly to his left. I started to wonder a little bit when they hadn't played a single decent pot together at either table in an hour plus, but whatever, that could have been anything. Both were pretty meow-chow nitty TAGs, similar names too (a word in all lower case followed by a four digit number). Anyway, I started getting suspicious when they completely stayed out of each other's ways despite that fact that they were seated next to each other on one table and one seat apart on the other, meaning one was in the blinds when the other was on the button. Finally, this hand came up (which I probably played badly, IDK):
Ultimate Bet No-Limit Hold'em, $2 BB (6 handed) Ultimate Bet Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com (Format: 2+2 Forums) CO ($288.95) Button ($97) SB ($204) Hero ($603.20) UTG ($231) MP ($214.60) Preflop: Hero is BB with Q[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], Q[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]. 1 fold, MP raises to $7, CO raises to $24, 2 folds, Hero calls $22, MP calls $17. Flop: ($73) T[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], 5[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], J[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (3 players) Hero checks, MP checks, CO bets $18, Hero calls $18, MP raises to $62, CO folds, Hero folds. Final Pot: $127 Obviously alone it wouldn't be much, but together with the other stuff it seems pretty fishy. If either bandit3168 or poker2367 on UB post here, I'd like to know what you had / folded on that hand. Obviously UB support won't do anything about it, and neither of these guys was any good, so w/e, I'll chalk it up to coincidence, but I'll definitely keep an eye on these two in the future. |

The games are soft though, and I've never had a problem with cashouts. I tried switching to Stars for a little while but it just didn't work for me. |
