OK, I'm chiming in (1) to be part of this amazing thread, (2) because I feel I have the right to post even without any additional information based on the many hours of my life I've spent reading all the way to the end, and (3) to make sure I understand a few pieces of this in case I missed something.

First, am I correct that we still have not heard anything "official" from Captain after all this time? If so, I do think it lends at least some credibility to Brandi's original post, despite the outrageous things that have come to light since.

Second, I think "she was drunk" may be a perfectly valid explanation for the HHs that doesn't involve (1) utter stupidity or (2) some form of chip dumping. I can imagine it's not too hard to get a bit hammered and then play totally recklessly when it's someone else's money. This seems a far simpler explanation then she was cheating and/or is really that bad, despite having cashed in at least a few tournaments.

I wish I had more to contribute, but at this point, I don't see how anyone without new, reliable inside information could possibly add much of value.

I'm pretty sure that if that was her own cash she would play a LOT differently, although obviously nowhere NEAR the level it'd take to beat any of these games for even the tinyest of winrates.

She basically said it herself: "It's not like he would've given me any of the money had I actually won!"

1) She has no incentive to play well, she won't receive any cash and she doesn't lose anything by playing like a [censored].
2) She's a stupid c-word with no regard for anybody else.

well she obviously wasnt playing that way in tournaments, you're trying to compare stuck, online, high limit cash game play under a respected name with running good, live, tournament play as an unknown woman.

people have already called her out on her satelite play, and that she was running good live.

this really isnt that hard to understand is it?
