Once one trade happens at a lower execution, there's generally buyers still willing to purchase at your stop price. That's why the stop price is the same price as the limit sell price. Stop loss is uglier as it involves a market order, which can lose you a chunk especially if it's a low volume symbol. Useful if you just absolutely need to dump something, but for most people I hardly ever recommend using one (any type of market order, really).

Oh forgot to add, if there's some odd event which totally kills your stock and it drops from way above your stop limit to way below, yes you can get stuck still owning it, but this is not all that common unless your trading garbage penny stocks with no volume.

as it stands currently, I have the next 4 days off from work and possibly distractions all-together (this depends on some chicks work schedule though...).

So, since I've been wanting to do it since moving to Vegas, I am looking at the possibility of pulling a huge marathon session where I take many beats and lose money.

What kind of supplies do you all recommend?

Looking at getting about 12 sugar free rockstars (one ever 2 hours should be good no?).

A few energy bar snack type things.

Some sort of prepared meal that will be quick and easy to re-heat.

Music and Movies.

Any recommendations, to keep me going. Wouldn't want to stop in the middle and stop bleeding money now would I?

It will be done at low stakes since I'm a pretty poor player. I will be doing this for FPPs and Rakeback.

Id raise on the flop, but not raising the turn is just gross. By the river you should have 1/2 of your stack in the middle at least.

Ever play poker to Slayer? This is the day to start. I like to end a marathon with several beers. Movies gotta pump you up, Fight club, SPR, Heat. How do you feel about Iron Maiden?
