wowowowo

been having to re-eval how i'm playing this guy.

i'm down 6k to him, we have 24k hands left to go...i spent afternoon talking with fellow guys that play hu and feel a lot better about stuff. feel like i'm ready to really put my best showing out this next match...last match i ran really poorly, lost 2.5k that i went over with other guys and said it was standard (lost 3.4k total) but i also had 1.4k worth or so of spews...so looking to fix this stuff up and hopefully cut his lead down the next few sessions.

i feel good...just need to put what i know back into practice.

sometimes i feel dumb

watching a husng video and the guy making the video 3bets all in pf with K6o (at 25/50 blinds i think). his reasoning is that he likely won't get called by Kx or A6, therefore if called he probably won't be dominated. i thought it was interesting that he thought that so quickly - would have never crossed my mind.

had another weird situation trying to explain to my cousin how i play poker and what it is......

Why is it so hard for me to tell people what I do. I want sooooo badly to just blow this off like its some dumb hobby but I just cannot. I have to go into detail and explain how i make big moniez etc etc....is this just me? i just need to say, "oh i just have this dumb bs hobby where i like to play cards" rather than "actually i make more money at this than most people do at their regular jobs and i study and play cards over 30 hrs per week".....there's something cheap about calling poker a "dumb hobby" and I just have to go into detail with friends and family and it always gets weird.

Im very very [censored] up in the head.
