Last post before i go watch PIRATE MASTER (lol?).

Played the weekly sam's town horseament today and wanted to solicit mild feedback/beraducation/utterances of "lol horseaments".

Both hands occurred during the first round, so stack sizes don't really matter. Tournament is two tables of 6 players each.

First hand is Omaha/8.

Hero limps from MP with A[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]K[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]9[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]5[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]. (Anyone do something different here?)

Guy who seems pretty bad limps OTB. Guy who seems pretty European completes SB. BB checks.

euro checks, HERO BETS, bad guy calls, EURO RAISES, HERO 3BETS, bad guy folds, EURO CAPS, hero calls.

(anyone prefer to just call here? if so, what's your river plan?)

Second hand is Stud High.

The 3[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] brings in it and i am next to act with (A[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]K[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]) 7[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]. The other door cards are three 4s and the bad guy from the O8 hand with the K[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img].

HERO COMPLETES. bad guy calls and everyone else folds.

*4TH STREET* (3 SB): I catch the 7[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]. Bad guy catches the 5[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img].

HERO DOUBLE-BETS, bad guy calls.

*5TH STREET* (3.5 BB): I catch the 8[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]. Bad guy catches the T[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img].

HERO BETS, bad guy calls.

*6TH STREET* (5.5 BB): blank, blank.

HERO BETS, bad guy calls.

*RIVER* (7.5 BB): I catch an 8.

stud i am not as good at but seems ok; i am always nervous with two middle pairs when i keep getting called down

well it's a hunch i had. you said he's bad. besides, our low is counterfeit, so we're drawing to one half of the pot at best, so bloating it with no redraw is no good.

I'd slow down on 5th, maybe 4th. It's only a middle pair. If villain is betting 6th, a fold isn't bad either. (This is with a full table. S/H is different obv.)

It could be the nut low, but you have neither nut hi or low. Remember, O8 is a game where you have to go with your reads and if vill acts like he has the nuts, he does. Or he's a maniac (like you). Sorry.
