Not sure if this has been answered, but what sites can this card be used at?

Can I use it at Full Tilt also?

I believe its $1 fee for a atm withdraw plus whatever the atm charges. And if you use your card at a store or whatever I don't think there is any fee for that.

[/ QUOTE ]

Actually, there are fees for POS (point of sale) transactions.

First number if the transaction is approved, second one if it is denied.

WITHDRAWAL/PURCHASE/BALANCE INQUIRY/TRANSFER
ATM Domestic/International Withdrawals $2.50 $1.00
POS Domestic/International Purchase $1.00 $1.00
POS Domestic/International Balance Inquiry $1.00 N/A

[/ QUOTE ]

I signed up for one and the transaction to withdraw $50 to it just cleared. So, if I attempt to use it online or even at the local Wal-mart once I get the physical card, they are going to charge me $1 each time it is swipped.

In the case of withdrawals, why exactly is this better than getting a check from Stars?

Faster.

Check takes a couple days by courier then has to clear.

This way will probably take a couple hours and not have to clear.

This may have been mentioned but has anyone been able to use the card to fund a sports betting account.

I don't know quite yet. I had this as an option, so I decided to try it out, and I didn't want to fund it with my CC quite yet (if at all). Right now, PS is taking about 72 hours to clear this transaction. At first I didn't notice the POS charge, and thought this may be a more convienent (not to mention invisible to my wife, which was not the case with Neteller withdrawls to my bank account) way to get money out and to purchase things.

I'm a pretty casual player and I don't think I really want to mess with these fees. I was a little hopeful that it could act as a holding spot just to take advantage of bonuses, much like how I've used Neteller in the past.

*shrug*

I'll probably just redeposit the test withdrawl I did and eventually just get a check from Stars and probably be done with online poker unless something changes.

I've never had to redeposit from my bank account, but for the most part I've been about a breakeven player, "making" money from bonuses. Of course, I've hardly played in the last 3 months.

For anyone else who hasn't gotten it yet, check to make sure PokerStars update has run recently. Out of curiousity I opened "PokerStarsUpdate.exe" today and the software did indeed need an update and after that update I now have the Visa debit card option.

This is getting really frustrating. Ive had the option for a week now and still can not sign up. Still getting errors saying my information is valid, so I called paytru support line as Pokerstars told me to do and its an automated line with no option for technical support in the sign up process. They only offer real time card balances or report a lost or stolen card. Looks like this option is out for me.
