Someone might have already said this but why dont you just get your points by making a deposit everyday? a 500 dollar deposit gets you 1000 pts. Am i missing something?

Only regular points count for this promotion, and for makin deposits you don't get regular points, you get bonus points. Both types are equivalent for the purposes of using them in the party store, but not for certain promotions, like this one. |

[ QUOTE ] I got $450 for 6415 points, which seems to be pretty good. Question: Does anybody know when they plan on paying these bonuses out? Weekly? Or do we have to wait 3 mos for one lump sum? [/ QUOTE ] Weekly on Thursdays (seriously) according to the promo. [/ QUOTE ] Next thursday. I like that quote here |

Re: PARTY POKER : VIPs Acceler-8 your bonuses
I'm a little annoyed because I seem to play higher stakes than some of you and I got shafted worse than almost all of you.
I am silver and got 6095 pts for $270. I play 10-20 to 50-100. What gives? I read above that some speculated they are punishing higher volume players? |

Re: PARTY POKER : VIPs Acceler-8 your bonuses
Didn't know I was VIP until I got the popup today, maybe I'll move back to party for a while if I can chug out the infinite hands needed.
1180 points, $115. I play 100 or 2006max nl. |

Re: PARTY POKER : VIPs Acceler-8 your bonuses
10/20 full ring = just over 80% (80-85) raked. 3/6 full ring = just over 50% (50-55)raked. Does anyone have a link to a reliable thread, chart, site listing the raked hands/dealt hands ratios?

Re: PARTY POKER : VIPs Acceler-8 your bonuses
I don't know where the chart is.
but I can also add that 3/6 6-max is about 49% raked. And 5/10 6-max is about 72%. Again though, these numbers may skew a little bit lower with tighter games caused by 6-10 tabling VIP-grinders. |

Re: PARTY POKER : VIPs Acceler-8 your bonuses
Bob, I sent you a PM last night and you didn't respond. I've heard several people complain that they never got the flashing icon to alert them to new PMs, so I just want to make sure that you read it.
Sorry for the thread hijack. |

Re: PARTY POKER : VIPs Acceler-8 your bonuses
sorry soah.
got a lot of pm's lately. meant to respond but just didn't get around to it. soah's idea is an interesting one and he said it was okay to post it if I wanted. Might be worth some discussion here. I don't really think it's that realistic. but 1 week ago I wouldn't have thought that party would 'invite' me to play 46-hours a week of 6-tabling. So who the hell knows? Here's soah's idea: It's apparent that Party is not going to negotiate with you about your bonus offer. Their promotions are designed to encourage people to play more than they would otherwise, and they don't see any benefit in lowering anyone's target to a level that does not encourage the player to play more than usual. In order to get results negotiating with them, I think you should keep their goals in mind and look for a compromise. I would suggest to them that after the first two or three weeks of this promotion, they go back and re-evaluate the targets that have been set for players who have failed to meet their target yet in any week. These players could receive some form of alternate or modified promotion. These players could receive some form of a reload bonus, or they could be given the option of either continuing with the Acceler8ator bonus or choosing a modified version, etc. This way they can still offer incentives to players that appear to be underachieving, without simply caving in to players who (in their minds) want to structure bonuses in a manner which does not push them to play more per week. Good luck. PS. You are welcome to post this message if you wish. It just seemed easier to use PM for some reason. |
