Figo trying to fix the match so that Portugal would go through last World Cup showed me what a dirty bunch of cheaters Portugal was. This World Cup did nothing to change that perception and I am so happy to see them get knocked out, especially since this was probably their last decent chance to win it for a long, long while.

this is a lie, you're the only one that still thinks this is true.

lol you know very little of portuguese/european football apparently

PS: someone brought out the red/yellow card problem. That's idiotic, there's a good reason not to like the portuguese team (diving), being a violent team is simply not true, for the last 4 years Portugal has been an extremely fair team, you know how man red cards we received since the last world cup? 2, both in that game.

let the bias begin: in that first dive Ronaldo has a hand on his back, very clear. Someone please explain to me what Sagnol's hand is doing on his back and why it should be allowed.

there are more break aways. I saw at the end of France-Portugal that the player was called for penalty for entering the box before a French player was inside of there. This seems like another goofy rule.

[/ QUOTE ]

this is not the reason for the penalty nor the rule. look up "offsides."
