Re: **Official** uNL BBV Thread - October
WTF I run into flush over flush twice in a row on the wrong side. One of them I was beat by two people with higher flushes.

This was my only limp of the session, now I remember why it's a bad idea. I didn't want to charge myself for draw on turn on the flop. Will bet here quite a bit just did not this time. The turn was a good card but facing bet/call from relatively passive players I thought there was little chance they would fold to raise and picked up a bunch of hidden outs. I really can't see ever raising the turn 3way. Betting flop, yes. I lol'd when they both had flush and neither of them raised. Such nits. |

Re: **Official** uNL BBV Thread - October
sorry. didn't mean raise turn. If I was going to play this hand in an unraised pot I'd like to build the pot on the flop, and if checked to fire a second barrel on that turn. Calling down is a pedestrian play that will not pay off often enough or for very many BBs.

I take it. On the turn I face bet and call. Definitely have FE here and picked up some more outs. Are most 25nl players too nitty to pay off when I hit the flush? I only have a few thousand hands so my 'standard' 25nl player image isn't fully developed yet. A five on the river would be best, six really nice too. I certainly have the right price to draw though so don't see much reason for raising--I think HU raise would be standard. |
