I just don't see the value of calling with 9 high preflop when you're first to act on the flop. 200BBs isn't THAT deep. I'd say it's "super std." in position but from the SB is spew.

[/ QUOTE ]

200bbs isn't that deep?

if villain could stack off with 2 pair on such a flop, and our hero had some sort of read that he had the capability to do this, then calling here is definitely not a spew.

don't 3-bet AK from the SB, it's only ace-high and you'll be first to act on the flop

I am a total nit from the SB though so I could be wrong

[/ QUOTE ]

that's fine, and probably profitable in most instances. here though, your implied odds are pretty good and you have more than enough room to maneuver after the flop.

because we always flop the nuts right? villain's range here I imagine is pretty broad. You can't play 89 for TP value. Most of the time you will either miss or flop a draw that you'll be forced to fold. I don't see how this isn't spew.

all 3 villians in this hand were very taggy, so i figured with 2 already in the hand if i hit the board hard im getting a stack.

Vixticator convinced me to take a shot at 25NL. I'm break-even at 10NL, but a mad donkament rush gave me a little bankroll padding.

So far so good! Of course, $47 was from a single horrible player.
