Re: Official October Thread: General Discussion
[ QUOTE ]
Hey guys, I'm looking to buy a new laptop and would love some help. I was very very close to buying an HP but decided I would like to be pretty informed before buying one (unlike my desktop where I just went to Best Buy and bought the one I thought would be good based on price and looks). So for those of you who play poker on a laptop more often, could you give a brief description on why you like/dislike it and if you would recommend it. Thanks [/ QUOTE ] im interested in this also |

Re: Official October Thread: General Discussion
I have the Dell inspiron E1705 and have been very happy w/ it. It's got a 17' screen which makes 6 tabling pretty easy when I'm traveling, it can support most (if not all) large sized monitors and I've never really had any problems w/ it.

Re: Official October Thread: General Discussion
i'd actually recommend against dell laptops. i have one and it's been nothing but trouble. small sample, obviously, but everyone i know who owns one complains of the same stuff. dells tend to run cheaper than other laptops, but i think there's a reason that's the case. a few hundred bucks shouldn't be an issue for an msnler anyway.
