roksteady,

brandi had a flush in that hand. tough to lay down a flush! also the raise on the river wasnt really an overbet at all.

[/ QUOTE ]

As I thought, I might be misreading it. Anyhow, a 4x 3 bet on the river is a fair indication that a flush is beat. But of course that is obvious.

It seems that internet poker has spawned a legion of wildly rich, naive, lonely men who are ripe for this kind of hustle. I can't believe this hasn't happened more times. Look at all the names she was able to shake money out of in a extremely short amount of time, while barely keeping her head screwed on.

Here is a link to a brief blog by Brandi, which includes a number of pictures, some of which have already been linked.

I just can't see under any circumstances how even a low limit grinder could play a hand like this. It's horrendous. I mean, I'm reading this correctly, right? She called a huge over raise on the river with 7 high?

[/ QUOTE ]

she thought she had a straight? lol

I'm not sure what to think about the chimp dumping theory. A lot of those plays just seem desperate and others like this one are completely apathetic, which would coincide with the frame of mind she was probably in at the time. How much money did twin caracas win off of her?

Shaniac - are you backed by Tom Franklin?

Why do you harsh on Brandy when normally you NEVER say a bad word about anybody? I think it's kinda weird.

It says something about a girl when the profile pic she's selected is one that doesn't show her face, and does show her nipple.

Mostly it says "nice nipple", but there's other stuff too...

also, she had four cards to a straight flush. if she could have convinced the dealer to deal the ocean, she had decent odds and a chance of winning the BBJ.

Sick thread! This is an evil version of 'Beauty and the Geek'. No matter how much people say on here, 90% of the forum would plow Brandi if given the opportunity.

I don't think girls make up 10% of the NVG readership.
