oh. I have 1k hands with him. he won't call the flop then move on the turn with nothing. I'd say his range is really narrow. TT-AA. He maybe called pf with ATs this deep hoping to hit 2 flush cards. I've seen him bluff fold maybe twice. He's very abc. I bluff him alot early in a hand fwiw, then shut down most times.

Sounds like you can c/c turn and c/f river against this guy.

[/ QUOTE ]

Why fold river at that point, unless it is a huge bet, like AI? There would be already approx $170 in the pot?

a lot of times the river will go c/c after a rr on the turn esp if villain is a donk. You can still get to showdown a lot but need to fold to pressure on the river and have that plan in your head. Calling the turn doesn't mean felting the river.

I have trouble folding a made hand, and I have a lot of trouble folding when the pot is huge and has a lot of my chips in it.

Where do you draw the line between folding and losing a lot of your stack, but preserving enough and being committed when there is a huge pot, which you've contributed significantly to?

Your equity vs his range is pretty well defined on the turn but will be more so on the river if he shoves or w/e. You can say on the turn b/f to a shove, but in this case villain rr'ed < pot so I'd call then pray for a cheap showdown on the river. You gotta just tell yourself "bet $xx and fold to a shove" you're almost never ahead in situations like this to make it worth it.
