yea im pretty sure thats how it works, but you have to run bad for 3 hours before watching it and 1 hour after, cause thats what happened to me

I was talking to pattay on one table and TheYeti and a few others and complaining that I kept getting 3bet in steal spots everytime I had the bottom of my range and they always just folded when I had a decent hand. He told me to just squeeze other people and I said I never get a hand to. He told me to do it with A2s and I told him I never got suited cards or aces. This hand comes up literally within the minute at another table. I thought I was gonna have to kill pattay when this guy snap called the shove, but it worked out well for me.

Sure. You bluffraised the flop and he called. This will be TP or an overpair almost always. You turn your gin card and fail to bet again. This is pretty bad given that it brings a 3 flush and he could easily have the Kh or Ah and would surely check it behind. If he has TP or better and a FD he will usually call your bet. By checking you basically give him a freeroll to improve.

I've seen some pretty good discussion on these types of situations, I'll see if I can find some of them. They center around us trying to fill up vs. him having a flush or giving a free card..etc. It was a post in the HSNL forum.
