This was my favorite part of the game.

That, and the pose he struck after the celebratory "[censored] yeah!" They showed it from the RF camera at the end of the inning, he just stood there posing after making that play while the other infielders were flinging the ball around.

(Honorable mention to Tejada for his reaction after being called out on the play. That wasn't him disagreeing with the umpire--that wave of the arm was directed toward Pedro, as if to say, "Oh, gimme a break! I can't believe you pulled that off!")

EDIT: Wait, that wasn't my favorite part of the game tonight.

My favorite part was when Millar almost got picked off of second base. He barely beat the tag, and when he got up, he nodded and pointed to his head, like the bad guys used to do on tv wrestling, telling the crowd, "I'm too smart to fall for that one!"

That was awesome.

Sorry I wasn't able to be around to enjoy this one with you boys. I was up at Seabrook playing some live poker for a change. Of course they had the game on and when the ump who liked to make those delayed strike calls delayed it even a little more, wrung up the final out on that wicked curve ball the place erupted. No Yankee fans up in NH I guess.

Two things:

1. Around the 6 th or 7th inning I turned to my brother and told him "look at the look in his eye, he's doing this".

2. Also after the 7th, I overheard a dealer at the next table say "he'll never come out to start the 8th, his pitch count is too high". I, not even knowing his [censored] pitch count yelled over "how much you want to bet he comes out to start the 8th" and he said "I don't know, how much you want to bet" and me being the big spender that I am said "ten bucks" to which the nit dealer said "that's over my head". WTF.

P.S. #1 is a fib but #2 is true and good day all around as I chopped the 7 O'clock tourney with 2 other guys with me being the short stack. These guys at Seabrook love to chop for some reason.

Sublime, here's an assignment for you. A split avatar with both Bucholz and Pedroia.

P.S. In the papers today they reported how Francona and Theo discussed lifting him after 7 and Epstein said " Tito wanted to take him out and blame me" but Tito said "somebody else might have had to put on a uniform and come take him out". Was he refering to Theo?

Anyway this is as someone else pointed out the shot in the arm the Sox needed.

hasnt been posted, poor quality. the first few words are hard to decipher, but considering it happened while joba was doign thr 'who me' after being tossed "get out here you f----ng c*unt" seems to be the winner.

This stuff is usually a red herring IMO, but if it restores his confidence then sure, monsieur gagne, you were tipping them but now you're not.
