Perhaps there's something about Horry's skill set that allows him to excel in certain situations. Not that he's necessarily "clutch," but a guy like Horry who can knock down open 3s is more valuable at the end of the game.

Think of a guy like David Ortiz, a left-handed fastball hitter. In most "clutch" situations, he'll be facing closer - normally right-handed fastball pitchers. Perhaps he's "clutch" even if we account for this variable but the sample size is so thin as it is so we're on shaky ground already.
