I am having trouble opening the smart buddy program, whenever I try to open it I get the error message: "smart buddy data server is inaccessible an error was discovered processing the <security> header." any ideas to fix this?

it also says my login user failed. When I try to login on my other computer everything goes smoothly. Should I just uninstlal and reinstall, is there a way to keep the buddies I have on here.
thanks for your help,
Noah

This sounds like a firewall issue. You can contact support and they will walk you thru it.

[ QUOTE ]
I think this program is pretty unethical in that it circumvents the hide from search feature. I realize stars made them add an opt out feature on the website but the average stars fish will have no idea about that. All they know is that they are hidden from search and they should be able to trust that the site will protect them.

Reading Silent's comments was disgusting "who cares about their privacy we just want their money." It's attitudes like this that push online poker into a gray area and make people want to abolish it.

I hope stars considers only allowing the program if it does not circumvent the hide from search feature, period.

I can't believe Pokerstars approved this program. They clearly have no vison for the future or protecting their player. This was the wrong decision. They should be protecting their new players not throwing them under the bus.

I think its obvious that over 90% of the players that use the hide from search option will have no idea that this program exists, and thus will not be able to opt out.

I will not play on Pokerstars again if this is their attitude.

Clearly the old management and the new management share a differing view. Lee Jones opinion

Hi Noah,
We did have a problem with our authentication server twice today for about 10 minutes each time. Are you still having an issue? It could also be that you have the incorrect time on your computer. Just go to data and time properties, internet time tab and click the automatically synchronize time. Let me know when you solve it.

Suggestion: List the date/time they last logged on next to the name.

I like how it tells when the tv pros log in. I don't like how it doesn't find people hiding from the search feature. Of course if it did find those hidden people the OP would've said so in his first post, as that would be the biggest selling point.
