No I havn't, but have you ever gone to a mall knowing that only one store will have jeans in your size? and even they only have about 3 pairs of jeans that will fit you? My clothes selection sucks just because I can't buy jeans at any store other then the Buckle, and it's very hard to find a long sleeved shirt that actualy fits.

I think the points to the thread are that height is baked into attractiveness, not a separate category, and also that height can actually be a deal-breaker for women.

Meaning, on a first-level look, if you are in a bar, some category of men are excluded as an option based on height alone. And as fluffpop pointed out, even from more serious type relationships.

We do it to fat chicks, they do it to short guys. Seems fair. However because women are not as superficial, the stature issue is easier to overcome (vs. being a fat chick). That's prolly not fair, but whatever.

It's a lot easier to say "it's not my fault that I'm short" than to try to claim that it's not your fault being fat. Overweight women have it pretty rough in our society.

In my categorization, when I say attractiveness, I mean the difference between Kobe Bryant and Patrick Ewing looks-wise.

As for height being a deal-breaker, sure. But I think all of those things can be deal-breakers. It's just a question of what the threshold is for those. That's why I put height at the top, as it's one of the first potential deal-breakers. If a woman has a certain height she wants, the threshold of qualification might be 8/10 to have a chance. On the other hand, if a women wants a guy with a certain amount of money, a guy doing well in other areas might only need a 5/10 in the money department to make the cut.

There is a pretty big difference between being a fat chick and being a short guy.

A chick being fat is often a reflection of their lifestyle. I try to take care of my body and and stay active. I would like to date someone who shares similar beliefs, and a thinner girl is much more likely to share in those beliefs than a fat girl is.

As a short guy (5'7), I cannot control my height at all. It isnt a reflection of who I am whatsoever.

It was more of a general list applying to both situations. It wasn't something I spent any time really thinking out. It was mainly just a reaction to the retardedness of this thread. I mean, it seems like there are people in this thread who don't consider it a simple fact of life that in general women prefer taller guys over shorter guys and guys with more money over guys with less money. Who didn't know that?
